Subject: Name of 80s tv show???
Can anyone help me remember the name of a TV show from the 80s?
It was a show about this guy that was just a standard guy during the day, but at night he was this crime fighter who would help innocent people and go out at night dressed all in black and with a painted face. His good buddy was this blind black guy that helped him out. Can anyone name this show? It lasted only for a year or two...

The only show that sounds even remotely close to me is The Greatest American Hero. I think it aired from 80-82, or maybe 81-82. Didn't last very long.
William Katt did dress up in it, but I don't think he was limited to night. He also had a superman type red suit, not black, and his sidekick did go blind in an episode. I don't think he had a painted face.
There isn't much of a match here, but this is the only TV show I can possibly think of where some guy turned into a crime fighter.

i am not sure if it is right, but it kinda sounds like Stingray. he was some rich guy that would only work for favours and to solve the crime or problem, he wold call on the favours of people that owed him. if this is the show, i loved it !!!!!!
