Subject: Ashes to Ashes
Is the song Ashes to Ashes by David Bowie considered an "'80s song"? I know it came out in 1980, but is it an '80s song enough to warrant itself to be included on an '80s compilation? Technically, yes I suppose, but I always considered it more '70s era Bowie. I'm a fool. Let me have it.

I've always considered anything that charted in the 80s to be 80s, even if was released in 79. Certainly anything released in the 80s would belong on an 80s compilation.
