Subject: NEEDED- 80s sesame street buffs who remember..
I was just thinking about the Good old sesame street days in the 80s when i remembered something about that show that always striked me as intriguing. IF ANYONE REMOTELY KNOWS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT OR HOW THE SONG WENT I'D GREATLY APPRECIATE IT! LOL. I try to ask my friends if they remember but they look at me liek i'm crazy.
Okay, *all* i remember is that it was one of Sesame Street's music video thingies. It started out with the sounds of this clock ticking almost. i think it was the whole wierdness of the video or whatever that captivated my imagination.
WHILE THE THING IS TICKING THIS DOLLS EYES START MOVING? YA KNOW? ANYONE? ALl these little things start moving around- its not cartoonish, but looked more real.
then all i remember after that IS IT SHOWING THE EARTH AT A DISTANCE AND THAT SATELLITE SPINNING AROUND. I remember everything "coming alive" once the music started.
HELP! YOUR MEMORY IS NEEDED! LOL

I don't remember that particular one, but I do remember something similar. It concerned two girls playing with dolls and a dollhouse. They serve the dolls tea, and two cats invade the dollhouse and lap up the tea. By the way, while we're on the subject, do you remember the animated segment about counting to 20 that featured an old man in India? The first time I saw that I about freaked out when the guy revealed his third and fourth arms!

LOL! I don't remember the one about India, but i do know the one you're talking about. It was a thing about "two little dolls in a little doll house." i know the song went something like
"pitter patter" and then the cat just comes in and knocked everything over. I loved that. They really knew how to entertain back then, ol' sesame street.
Its better than the kids shows now-a-days. I'm glad i was a product of 80s cartoon-age. Seems like shows today aimed at kids are so damn scared of violence- in ANY form, so they make the programs *So* pathetically saturated with "cutsie" that its sickening to watch. Even sesame street's changed radically i think. Now the bad Coyote getting ran over by an oncoming Acne truck- that's funny.
