Subject: GLASS TIGER / ALAN FREW SOLO
Glass Tiger Fans Can Check Out Frew's Solo Work --I finally found audio clips from singer Alan Frew's superb solo CD's. The German Amazon site www.amazon.de is the only one to have clips (and for every song) for "Hold On" -- his solo debut full of strong songs and wonderful vocals -- I used the free basic Real Player 8 to play the clips, which are at -- http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000006YU5/qid%3D989629184/302-8528682-1865665 -- if the direct link won’t work just go to http://www.amazon.de and enter Frew in the Schnellsuche (search) box and choose Pop Musik in the drop down menu next to it, and hit the Los button to search – “Hold On” should come up.
His follow-up "Wonderland" is a beautifully intense and emotionally rich listening experience -- there are a few clips available at http://www.alanfrew.com/musicroom.htm -- but this album is one to savor from beginning to end, and some of the best songs don't have an audio clip. These are both Canadian imports and by far the best prices are at http://www.hmv.com -- it's a Canadian site so you don't have to pay the extra "import" price and they have reasonable shipping to the U.S. -- plus they give the price in U.S. dollars also and the exchange rate is good for Americans. Enjoy the clips -- feel free to e-mail me with any questions -- kgsniagfalls@hotmail.com
P.S. I saw Glass Tiger live this weekend (including some solo songs from the Alan Frew band)-- fabulous show!
Take care, Kelly G. Smith

Just wanted to let you know that i am a big Glass Tiger fan and have all the albums plus Alan Frew's solo, it is very good and its too bad they never got as much recognition in the states as they deserved. Have to mention my fave tiger song Watching Worlds Crumble, haunts me every time i listen to it.

Alan Frew has a fantasic sound now! I saw him in concert last summer with Glass Tiger and I'm really happy to see that they're still performing around the country!
He does get quite a bit of airtime on my hometown station and his song Lipstick is wonderful!
I also agree that Glass Tiger's Watching Worlds Crumble gets me going everytime I hear it as well as Thin Red Line. Amazing songs!!!!
