Subject: pure eighties ideas
My older brother is obssessed with the eighties. he is doing a course in which he makes new music.. yet all of his songs could easily pass as being directly from the eighties. he is leaving home and as leaving home present i would like to paint a photo of a pure eighties object / movie / idea / person / rock star / pop star / anything really... for his new home. i need help finding something that is relevant. if you have any really good photos (or know where to get some) then please respond. his favourite eighties artists were new kids on the block (for their cheesyness) and other really electronic "fresh" eighties bands.

How about photos/pictures of Steve Strange? I think he was a fashion model of sorts and was in the David Bowie video "Ashes To Ashes," not to mention he had New Wave band/project called Visage, which Ultravox member Midge Ure helped in. Try this site for Strange photographs.
