Subject: HELP...80's Food
I am having an 80's dinner party tomorrow and am trying to find what foods (not fast food) were from that era. I have only been able to find: Gourmet Pizza, Crab Cakes and Blackened Redfish. Does anyone know of anything else? Also, what cocktails were made popular during that time?

I don't know if this drink was "invented" in the 80's but I know one very popular drink in the late 80's was Sex on the Beach with Vodka and Cranberry Juice, and I think a splash of Peachtree Snapps. I know cheese dip has been around forvev but I remember ALWAYS having it at parties. Another finger food I remember was pigs in a blanket...little weiners with can biscuits rolled around them with a toothpick stuck in them to hold the biscuit. And you can never go wrong with chilled shrimp. Good luck
