I've been going through my music collection today (after mowing the lawn this morning), and as a result I've come up with this question for all of you.
In your opinion, what are the 5 most underrated/underappreciated albums recorded during the 80s?
Mine are:
1. Jerry Harrison - Casual Gods
2. KISS - The Elder
3. Aztec Camera - Stray
4. The Call - The Burden
5. The Brandos - Honor Among Thieves

1. Haircut 100 - Pelican West Plus (the entire album is excellent, but the radio only played 2 or 3 songs from it)
2. Depeche Mode - Construction Time Again and A Broken Frame (yeah, really...)
3. Christian Death - Catastrophe Ballet (the whole band is underrated...)
4. Killing Joke - Nighttime
5. Was Not Was - What Up Dog?

"A Love Like Blood" is off Nighttime isn't it? What an amazing song.

So is "Eighties." The band came out with some pretty good music back then. I bought their singles collection a while ago and I like their music - I usually don't like punk music, but I make an exception for this band. And, yes, "A Love Like Blood" is an excellent song.
