Subject: Help with Delilah song

I can't remember a number one song from about the spring of 1984. I think it was called "Modern Day Delilah" It went "she's a modern day Delilah, she keeps her scissors razor sharp". Does anyone remember its title and the artist?

Yes,it was called "Modern Day Delilah". This was one of my favorite songs from the 80s. The artist was Van Stephenson,and the album was "Righteous Anger". Van Stephenson is now a member of the group Blackhawk. I wonder if they do this song in concert (yeah,I know Blackhawk is a country group...but remember Exile?).

Actually, Van Stephenson passed away recently from a form of skin cancer.

I didn't know that and I'm sorry to hear it. The world has lost a good singer and songwriter.

DANG!!! Is it just me??...or does it seem we are starting to lose our 80s singers faster and faster? We lost Van/Falco/INXS/Ramones...who else did we lose?
What a drag!! This is starting to bum me out. I'm gonna miss INXS.
