Does anyone remember a show on Fox that came on in the late '80s (1987 I think) called The New Adventures of Beans Baxter? It starred Jonathan Ward (the kid from Charles in Charge's 1st season). It was about a teen who found out his dad was a spy and was kidnapped and Beans was recruited as a spy to help find his father. And all the while, his mother had no idea about any of this. It was actually a pretty decent show. However, I only have vague memories of it. Anyone else remember?

Vaguely. Was this the show with Eleanor Donahue (Ellie on the Andy Griffith Show) as the mother?

Yeah it was. And Kurtwood Smith (the father
Red on That 70's Show) was also on it.
