Subject: 80's fashions are coming back but where are they?
If the 80's fashions are back, I don't see any of the kids wearing them. Where are they and will they last longer than the last time? Can anyone give me a website telling me where the 80's fashions are here in Canada and their lifespan? I live in the Toronto area in Ontario.

not to be mean to Candians.. but usually Canada (and the mid-west) lags behind the fashion scene by a year or two.. not to mention the fact that the return of the 80s is still in its infancy..
usually retro fashions don't overtake the current fashion, so it's not like you'll see every kid on the block wearing flourescent colors anytime soon, just like you don't see everyone wearing bell bottoms (thank god!)

No offense but I hope that the 80's fashions come back soon. I can't stand to see another kid wearing bellbottoms or I'll be sick!!

I agree, but I got to say, the bell bottoms, as stupid as they look, are better then the whole thing of the pants just falling off, yet another thing that i just don't understand!

The pants that go down to the knees is totally stupid! I would rather have the kids today wear straight leg acid washed jeans! They are SO COOL!

actually.. That 70's show has been moving ahead a year each year's it's on.. they're at 1978 right now.. maybe in two years they'll all be in college in 1980...

I hope so! Hopefully by then, they'll change the name of that show. I couldn't wait until 2008 for the 80's fashions to come back. I'll be 37 by that time(my same age that my bf will be in Nov. 2001).
