Subject: Real Genius....Real under-rated
I recently saw this film for the first time and I
absolutely loved it. Val Kilmer stole the show in every scene he was in..even some that he wasn't in. But this movie gets very little airplay on such stations as TBS and TNT. Don't get me wrong, i love those stations and they show many of the
great movies of the 80s, but I think this film should gets its props and be included amongst them.

Oh yes, I absolutly agree. I am not usually a big time fan of the "campus comedy" but this movie is fantastic! Also, Val Kilmer (who I must say is not my favorite actor) is absolutly HILARIOUS! I love the bit about the guy who keeps coming in and out of the closet through the whole movie!

Someone else recognizes what an excellent film this is. I own a copy of it myself and watch it almost every week...Hilarious premise, witty dialogue, quirky cast of good looking and weird looking actors, and that yellow Citroen (wow! I remember those cars!).

one of my favorite movies. I'm also not a big Kilmer fan, and this is his best role. Second best would be Top Secret. other than that, I really don't care for him. To me, his "Iceman" role in Top Gun wasn't 'acting'. maybe it's just me.
But, yes, Real Genius is WAAYYY under-rated.
