group of people.
I never did frequent boards of any type. I made the mistake of stopping-in curiously once or twice to some message boards out there, to find some terrible stuff. I found out what the word "Flame" meant. I was glad not to be part of it.
Then, I stumbled here and found all of you.
In my time on the net, I have never experienced a message board that was so intelligent and dignified. Chucky, you do an excellent job all around with it. Just having this particular forum alone merits you lots of kudos!!! Thus, here I am, as often as I can.
Just wanted to say THANKS to all of you for being so cool. THE 80's RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you know.. stating that.. is almost like a challenge to the people who do flame, to come here >grin< I did have a problem when I first started the messageboard, but I changed software and got something that lets me prescreen posts (if I have to) to prevent those flair-ups...

I recall a couple of incidents in the past where some whise guy would stop-in and post with profanity for no particular reason. There's always a bad apple out there. Still, not considering your filters, the problem was minimal in comparison to everything else out there.
