Here's another fashion question that I think I might have mentioned somewhere before, but here goes......were white denim jackets first produced in the mid-late 1980's and if so, were they worn mostly by young women?
I do remember here in the U.K one particular girl wore a white denim jacket but they were very obscure in this country.

I had a white denim jacket in the late 70s, and they were fairly popular among the guys at my Jr. High at the time. I don't remember any girls wearing them.

I had an ex-girfriend who loved her white coat! Yup, I remember girls wearing them. Maybe not many...but Sara did. (I bet she still has it too)

yeah I bet she does, white denim jackets in the u.k were obscure but it's more of a women's item of clothing. I remember back in 1994 there was a contest on Radio1 where the band Del Amitri were giving a white denim jacket away as a contest prize but I do think beautiful woemn who wear them look stunning.
