OK OK... this song seems very 80's to me, but I have a horrid memory, so it may very well be from the 90's... I seem to recall hearing it a lot around 97-98 or so, and thinking it was 80's and coming back, as some songs seem to.. here's what I can recall...

as always, I have a hearing impediment that makes me think people are saying one thing when they're actually singing something entirely different...

It's called "What Do You Want From Me?" and it's by Monaco. Name of CD is Music for Pleasure.

Aren't the members of Monaco former members of New Order? (That would explain the 80s sound in a 90s song.)

Actually, the front of my CD says...featuring Peter Hook of New Order.

...that the name of the band was Electronic which features Bernard Sumner of New Order. This band has like 2 or 3 albums out already (I think I even own them...shrug...).
