I don't know too much about the eighties. There is a song with the chorus "everybody's working for the weekend" and i don't know who it is by or what the title is. If anybody out there knows either of these things (and i know you do) please post it.....it would be greatly appreciated

Your "mystery song" is "Working for the Weekend" by Loverboy, a moderate hit here in the U.S. in the Winter of '82. It was off the band's 1981 album, "Get Lucky". Fortunately, the album is still in print today on CD here in the U.S...
