ok...i finally have something to post...a friend at work remembers a show staring lee majors (6 mil. dollar man) in which he was a race car driver after "world war 3" and cars were outlawed...anyone remember this? i don't but i told him that if anyone could find the answer it was the gang on the 80's site...don't let me down guys.

There's a movie with the same plot line called "The Last Chase" that came out in the early 80s (like 1981 or 1982) in which the character is driving around in a Porsche trying to get to California in a post-apocalyptic world (a la Mad Max) where gasoline is a scarce commodity (hey, that sounds like modern-day SoCal...).
