Subject: children of the 80s, i need your help
okay, heres sort of a wierd request: i'm working on an extensive project about the generation of kids that were born in the early 80s and transitioned throught the 90s, and who are now into the "new millenium". i realized i cant undertake this alone. i need memories, stereotypes, and anecdotes about being a child of the 80s and an adolescent of the 90s. anything about tv, movies, music, fads, adolescence, the transition into the new decade, clothes, events...anything and everything. i'm not sure if our generation has a specific name (ie gen x, or baby boomer), so if anyone knows that, that would help also. i really appreciate this, and thanks to anyone who can help.

I think I can help you. I was born in '82 and I still don't know what to call my generation. All I know is that what I saw of the 80's was a whole lot better than all of the 90's. E-mail me if you want specifics.

Hey Lauren,
I was born in 1981, so I think that I fit the age group that you are looking for. I didn't quite understand what you were looking for, but here's the deal for me: the 80's were awesome, the 90's sucked, and we'll see what the new millenium brings...if you want/need more specific info, drop me an e-mail.
