Subject: Unknown toy series

Written By: speshl_K84 on 4/15/2001 at 2:57 a.m.

I'm dying to remember the name of a certain toy series. They were about the height of 2 or three GI Jo's, and they had dark colored armor. They would ride on giant flies. that's about all I remember. I'm 16 now, and they were around when i was really young, I think. If you can remember what they were called, I would really appreciate it if you told me. Thanks a lot
p.s. the other toys you've mentioned on this site have brought back a lot of good memories

Um, I think the toys in your inquiry are Sektaurs, these toys enjoyed a minor degree of popularity and I have read somewhere that Marvel Comics USA had produced a comic-book line to promote the toy range but unfortunately they never took off to the same success of other creations like Hasbro's Visionaries, which were famous for having holographic chest-plates and weapon staff.
From what I can remember the Sektaurs toys were a race of intergalactic-medieval warriors from the planet Symbion who used their native giant insects for travel and battle purposes and the actual giant insect toys could be animated for play by inserting a human hand inside the toy.
