Subject: incorrect info...
I was looking at your site for some info, and
I noticed a couple errors....
The Pontiac Fiero was not introduced in 1983, but rather in 1984. Even though the model year changes in the fall, the car was still generally thought to be a 1984 car, as is the usual practice in the car industry.
Also, the Ford Probe was not introduced until 1989, and the first year saw only the 4 cylinder engine. In 1990, the 3.0 L V-6 was used for the LX models. You might also wish to make an entry in 1985 for the Fiero GT, because the car was originally designed as an economy car. When the GT came out with the V-6, it was the first performance oriented Fiero, and it completely changed the image and target crowd for the car.
As for the Grand National/Buick Regal T-Type, the idea first started in 1979(only the T-Type at that time.) I believe the Grand National first came out in 1984, but if I am wrong, then it was 1985 instead. These cars were made until 1987, and the following year saw the new front-drive Regal.
Thanks..
John
