Gotta go w/ "I Still Believe". In fact, I bought Starr's album w/ that song back when it first came out in the Spring of '88. I passed on Russell - actually, what I did was pick up her s/t debut from 1979 w/ her first hit, "So Good, So Right"...

I wonder whatever happened to both of them. Supposedly,Mariah Carey was a backup voclist for Brenda K. Starr,but I have a Starr album and Mariah is not listed.

I love Brenda Russell's smoky and romantic "Piano In the Dark", a great song to get lucky to!!!
