Subject: Cool shoes
I know this is kind of off topic of 80's, but my high school prom is coming up, and I'm looking for really interesting shoes. I was thinking about going possibly 1940's/swing era. If you can find any type of funky checkered or leopard-type shoes or have any suggestions of other types of shoes, please reply. Thanks.

The swing dancers out here in LA wear white bucks or wing tip shoes(sometimes two tone) for 40's attire depending on the look you are going for. THe zoot suit type is usually the wing tips and the bucks go more with a 40s suit like a gaberdine belt back jacket or supper coat. Hope this helps.
