Subject: the police
I have a paper to do for my class "Survey of music history (1980's)" Ive been using this site for a lot of my information. but Ive decided to make the Police a big part of my paper. I have another page to fill and no information to fill it with. If anyone has knowledge of a web site or just their own knowledge of their past (the paper is entitled "the transition from disco to new wave") your help would be appreciated.

i'm not sure of the info you need, but, i can tell you a few things..stewart copeland founded the band and found sting playing nights in a jazz band.andy summers used to play back up with many popular bands such as the animals.in the beginning they had dyed their hair platinum blonde for a toothpaste commercial. if you want family info i can tell you that sting (gordon sumner) was the son of a milkman and a hairdresser and stewart has 2 brothers, ian and miles...miles is a record producer but i can't remember what company he works for...hope this helps.
