Subject: Creatures of the night
Does anybody know which band sang "Creatures of the night", it came out in about '83.
It's also played in the film "The preppie murder"
but I didn't get to see the end of the movie to find out who sang it..please help.
Also, anybody know the name of the TV series that featured the title song "Holding out for a hero",
I think it was a cop type show and apparently the lead guy killed himself so the series ended..anybody know the series.

Just a guess, but it could be Creatures o/t Night from KISS' album of the same name. Follow the link to listen to a sound sample.

Bonnie Tyler's song "Holding out for a hero" was the theme song to the detective drama "Undercover", which starred Jon-Eric Hexum (who also starred in "Voyagers" with Meeno Peluce (Punky Brewster's brother), and Jennifer O'Neil. Hexum was accidently killed on the set of "Undercover" when he put a stunt gun to his head and pulled the trigger. As for "Creatures of the Night", could that be from Laura Brannigan's song "Self-Control"... "I, I live among the creatures of the night, I haven't got the will to try and fight"???
