RADIO80
New 80's appreciation site featuring a radio station and several music videos (in rotation). Now featuring Duran Duran's "Save a Prayer". Radio station has over 5 hours of non-repeated music in the current rotation.
If you miss the sights and sounds from perhaps the most artistic and eclectic decade I can recall - stop by for a visit. Site still under construction but growing a bit every week.

Just a little friendly edit: wierd should be weird. I noticed it on your site, great idea by the way. I love listening to 80s music. I have 800 or so 80s mp3's.

Actually, 80s fanatic is right. The word "weird" is one of the exceptions to the rule you mentioned. (And remember that classic early episode of "The Simpsons", where Martin corrects Bart's spelling of "weiner", which he's just spray-painted on the wall of his school??? Yet another exception.) Just as "attach" is an exception to the rule about always ending a word w/ "tch", when the "ch" sound follows a vowel. Sadly, English is one of the most complicated (read: confusing) languages in the world...

Sadly, the mistake is mine. Kind of makes me wish that Adobe Photoshop had a spell-checker built in - I obviously should have checked such a thing before directing traffic there. Anyway - Kudos to 80's fanatic for catching my typo and I appreciate the heads-up. The problem has been corrected in such a manner that my sixth grade english prof would be proud (just please don't tell her that I didn't check my information, and then re-check it!).
Tell me some of the groups you have collected - a library of 800 songs is quite massive, perhaps you have someone obscure artists that I may have neglected to include in my audio file.
