Subject: miniseries info from the 1980's
Does anyone remember a miniseries about a kidnapped boy, named Steven? I think it was a true story, and would like to try to find out more about it. If anyone has any information that may make it easier to look up, or know how i could go about looking it up, please let me know. I think his name was Steven Stainer?
thank you. - Bekah Pollock

It was a true story, yes, and it was a 1989 television movie called 'I Know My First Name Is Steven'. His name is Steven Staynor and he died a few years ago in a motorcycle accident, I think. I found a little bit of information on the movie at IMDB.com (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0097553).

Corin "Corky" Nemic played "Steven" and I am sure if you do a search on Corin you'll be able to link onto a Steven story or website for him. That movie really helped Corin break out of his lame role in "Parker Lewis Can't Lose".
