Subject: #1 Song week of Feb 9, 1982
hello everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone knew the song that was #1 on the charts, for the week of Feb 9, 1982? So far the closest I've got is "Freeze Frame" by the J. Geils/Geiks Band (I still don't know which is right). And I'm not sure that, that song WAS in fact the #1 of that week. If anyone could give me an answer, it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you much in advance.

According to the website at the link below, the #1 song for February 9, 1982 in the US was "Centerfold" by the J. Geils Band and the #1 song in the UK for that date was "The Model/Computer Love" by Kraftwerk. Hope this helps.

Man, that's an awesome site! I could spend HOURS just searching songs and dates. It's really great for people like me who like to keep up with months and dates of when songs were #1.
