I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I seem to remember Nissan using Iggy Pop's Lust For Life on one of their car commercials not too long ago.

What was the ad about? Did the song have words or just music?
There is one with "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins in the background (not sure if it was an Altima, but it was a Nissan.)
