Subject: how do i rip my jeans properly?
I'm 16 years old, so i don't remember much about the 80s, but I really want to know if anyone can tell me how to rip my jeans properly? I've tried it before but they looked really crappy, so if any of you have any tips it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, maffu

I believe it used to be done with a razor blade.. in a straight line, not a circle or anything.. a bunch of small cuts was better than a couple of large ones.. (like 3 or 4 inches max) my brother used to do it all the time.. I never really got into that..
any other opinions on the subject?

In fact, I used to do that a lot, so here is my way of doing it :
the razor blade will do good, but you'll have to wash your jeans a lot before it looks great. A better way to do this is to take a pair of scissors or anything sharp and "scratch" the holes in your pants slowly. I mean that you will not cut the holes, but horizontaly scrape the blue material and leave the white strings. It will take time, but look natural...
