Hi here is one to remember is the Rattail Hairstyle. I had one. We were at a high school footbal game in late 1982 when I was 7 when I seen this boy about 12 I guess from the town that we were playing and I asked him what style was that. He told me that it was a rattail. He just got his long hair cut than hung over his shoulders into a rattail. I then asked my parents if I could get a haircut like that and they said sure why not. I let it grow at least halfway down my back most of that time, but in 7th grade I grew it all the way down and it was so cool now my 2 sons wants to grow a tail. I'm gonna let them who cares if it is a 80's style if my sons wants to have a good looking style I will let them.

I think that the 80's were so cool. I'm only 13 and born in 87 but I have the best hairstyle ever created. I have a rattail and it is all the way down my back. I had it since I was like 2 when My mother cut my hair then and the older I got the more I wanted to keep it growing longer. I never braid it either. Also I like watching all those shows from the 70's and 80's. I like them better than the shows they got on today except for 7th Heaven and Touched by an Angle. Though I'm a kid still yet I don't mind being called a child of the 80's

glad to know that I'm not the only one that like the 80's. I was born in 87 and I have a long tail too. I don't think that the 80's were just cool, I thank they were awsome and I wish that it was back. I like all the 80's shows like Silver Spoons,Different Strokes and Highway to Heaven and all the others shows that they had. My dad has a lot of videos tapes with 80's shows and some of them has kids with tail styles on them. I think it is awsome that the tail style is still going though it isan't as popular when my parents were growing up. There are a few boys with a tail at my school but I have the longest tail. It is 3/4 way down my back. Kevin
