Subject: 80s teen movie ?
Hey, I am sooo desperate to find the name of this movie, I'm pretty sure it was from the 80s...I don't know anyone who's in it or exactly what it's about. Something like this guy was stuck taking a really 'ugly' girl to the prom, and I remember a scene where they're in the laundromat or something and the guy goes "you look like a real girl" and the girl goes "what did you expect, a german shepard?" If anyone has any clue what I'm talking about I'd be soooo grateful! Thanks.

This might be wrong, but your description reminds me of a movie called "Dancing 'til Dawn" that came out in either the late '80s or early 90s. It had all the 80's sitcoms stars in it like Allyssa Milano,Tempest Bledsoe from the Cosby Show, and Tracey Gold from Growing Pains. Well..Tracey Gold's character was sort of a plain jane geek and a rumor spread that she was easy and so the hottest guy in school asked her to the prom because he thought she was a sure thing. She had no idea about the rumors so she accepted. But when she got all dressed up, her date thought she was hot and started to fall for her.
