Subject: Revenge Of The '80's sit coms on TV Land...
In March, Tv Land will air a bunch of episodes from various '80's sit coms including 227, Silver Spoons, Facts Of Life, Diff'rent Strokes, and Alf. They are calling it Revenge Of The '80's sit coms, I believe. I think it's cool cuz it'll be the first time since the '80's I'll get to see Alf! BTW, they said they were airing 227....I've never heard of that in my life.....

Jackee wasn't the only star on "227". It also starred Marla Gibbs (Florence on "The Jeffersons") and Alaina Reed (Olivia on "Sesame Street").

Oh, sweet! I'm gunna have to get a tape ready to record. I haven't seen Alf, Diff'rnt Strokes for a long time .....two of my favs.
227 was a black sitcom from like the mid - late 80s....about apartment #227 ....it stared Jackée (aka the mom on "Sister Sister") she talked funny......it was a pretty successful show for a while.

I haven't seen the majority of sitcoms since then. I saw Alf once after it went off the air. He was hosting Hollywood Squares of all things.
Room 227 was a short lived sitcom. I THINK it aired around 87 or 88, but I could be wrong. Might have been an all black cast. I only ever watched like one episode. Enough to see it wasn't funny. Might have only lasted one season.
Reminds me of the Golden Girls. That had to be the most unfunny sitcom I ever saw. Sounds almost like saturday night live. I hear its a comedy. I remember when Mad TV debuted and they said "remember when SNL was funny? neither do we."

Alf airs daily on Odyssey.

Not sure where it's from, but it's available on most cable and satellite systems if you're in the US.
