Does anyone remember the cartoon based on Nintendo's Dragon Warrior video game? If so, what was the name of it and is there any way to obtain copies of the episodes?

You're out of luck. That cartoon hasn't aired in like 7 years. It was only aired in a few states here in the US. The cartoon was called "Dragon Warrior" and there were about 28 episodes made (in Japan - where it is called "Dragon Quest"). You might want to try an anime club, though I highly doubt they'll carry it...
