Hi. I haven't seen the movie in over 10 years, so I don't personally know what song was in what scene, but I do have the soundtrack on vinyl and can tell you what is on it. It is mostly score, but there are two songs, both sung by Shandi. She also had one song on the Flashdance soundtrack, if you want to try to verify if she is the same singer. The songs are called "Living On The Edge" and "Double Trouble." If the song you're looking for was sung by a girl, there's a good chance its one of those.
You could try Napster or look for a Shandi website, however likely that is. If you want me to, I can copy the songs or the whole record onto a cd for you. Just let me know. Hope this helps.
