Can anyone tell me the name of the group or song title of the song that the first 3 couples dance to during the dance contest scene of the movie SHAG(1989)? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanx !

It's called "Stagger Lee" by Lloyd Price, recorded in 1959. I love that song and that movie.

NO,the first three couples dance to a different song than the 4th couple. The 4th couple are Pudge and Chip(the stars); they dance to Stagger Lee but the 3 couples before them dance to a different song that I cannot find a thing on ! It is the same song played earlier in the movie when the girls are cruisin the boulevard! Please Help ! Thanx.....
