Description: Today LD presents the long-awaited CD album of
PLAZMA - "Take My Love".

PLAZMA is the one from many Russian "Moscow-situated" ENGLISH-SPEAKING acts, was founded by two musicians from Volgograd (industrial city in Russia near Volga river):
Max(im) Postelnyi (keyboards, vocal) and Roman Chernitsyn (vocal). It was produced by famous Russian pop-star Dmitrii
("Dima") Malikov, which became known to public in 'bout 10 years ago as a "good copy" of German singer Thomas Anders at first. This "copying process" in the global pop-world seems so trivial, that the most amazing thing is rising in surface something new, fresh and original. Of course, it's impossible
to say that in their 1st CD Max and Roman found new horizons, this PLAZMA still doesn't mean the explosion of super nova. But I found pretty this mix of American Michael Jackson
(Quincy Jones)/Billy Ocean funky beat ("Take My Love") with traditional 80s Euro Disco and synthpop ("Fading Like A Rose", "Angie"). IMHO, as usually, the most awesome and catchy were
not the glorified to being "overplayed" by local FM-radio stations "Jump In My Car" and "Take My Love", but "Fading Like A Rose" and "Angie". The English texts of Roman Chernitsyn are inspired by the internal hidden tenderness and unspeaking sadness of Russian soul. You can see, the titles sounds rather common, not Shakespeare, of course...:)) And sometimes you can think, o-oooh, it sounds so trivial.... But it's a triviality of life in its own. - L.D.
