Subject: Looking for a movie
i need help finding a movie i saw when i was 9. cant remember much about it except for some scenes towards the end. I remember a guy mowing a lawn (i think), he starts going after a girl who was leaving town on a boat/ferry. when he sees the boat has left the dock, he swims after it, yelling and screaming for the girl. the girl sees him and jumps off the boat, swimming to go guy. they kiss and THE END (i think). ive been looking all over for this movie. thanks.

I think I remember this being the ending to two different movies, but I can only remember one of them now. "Secret Admirer" from 1985 starred C. Thomas Howell, Kelly Preston and Lori Loughlin. I don't remember him mowing the lawn, but he steals a guy's red sports car to catch the girl before she leaves. He swims after the boat and she jumps in, too. It still shows often on HBO or Encore. If I remember the other movie, I'll post about it later.
