Subject: child of the 80s.
here is something that may or may not start a debate. I have had some pretty heated discussions about what really makes up a child of the 80s. some have said you need to be a child (2 to 8 yearsold) during the 80s while others feel you need to be a teen or pre teen (11-18) what do you think????
by the way I was 12 in 1980.

SNAP!i was also 12 in 1980,i think you had to be 11-18 in the 80,s as it was a time for moving on and growing up.i do remember the 70,s but with a more childlike affection, also when you are reaching the teenage years you are taking more notice of fads and fashions that are going on around you,and it seems all that much more magical.

: I think it is however you feel about it. I was born in 1960. I consider myself a child of the 60's, a teenager of the 70's and a young adult of the 80's. I would say you're a child of the 70's, but if you feel more like a child of the 80's (if that era is the "childhood" memories you relate to the most) then that is what you are.
