I'm looking for the names of a few bands:
1) Who recorded "Obsession / I will Have You" that was NOT animotion? I know I saw such a video on MTV in the early 80's...
2) Who recorded "West End Boys" that was NOT Pet Shop Boys? Same as above.
3) There was a remake of the sugarloaf song "Green Eyed Lady" that was realling rockin'. Who Dunnit?...

It was first done by Michael Des barres And Holly Knight (also written by them) off "A Night In Heaven" Soundtrack in 83. It was later coverad by Animotion in 85.

"West End Girls" was written by Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant of the Pet Shop Boys. In 93 East 17 covered it, it was also covered by a group named Klassix (never herd of them and don't know what year.) On the MTV Videos A-Z list they only had the Pet Shop Boys listed for a video.

David Drew did "Green Eyed Lady" in 88. It was on the MTV Videos A-Z list. I am just guessing it is the cover you are looking for.

I have a positive id on #3 for you. That would be rock guitarist David Drew. His version of Sugarloaf's "Green-Eyed Lady" was a moderate hit on the AOR chart here in the U.S. in the Summer of '88 (it failed to cross over to the pop chart). It was off his 1988 album, "Safety Love". Unfortunately, the album is long out-of-print in all formats, although it was issued on CD here in the U.S. I have the cassette myself...
