With your host, Jim Perry. I believe it was originally an Australian game show and Jim Perry was the host of the show there before it was brought to the US. How about Card Sharks?

I vaguely remember Sale of the Century. I remember watching Card Sharks with my grandmother. It is being shown on the Game Show network these days. I admit I've watched it a few times LOL.

There was also an earlier version from the 1970's. I don't know who the original host of that '70's version was but I do know he was replaced by Joe Garagiola. The two programs may have had the same premise and it involved buying stuff real cheap. I wish I could buy stuff that cheap! On the original version, I remember a woman who just sat there and did nothing and the only time she rang in was to buy a trip to Québec either for $8 or that left her with $8. You couldn't do that on the Reg Grundy-produced version…

Sale of the Century may have been Australian (don't know) but Jim Perry is a Canadian who used to host a show here called "Definition" right before he went to do "Sale of The Century" in California.
