I would like to know if anyone knows the name of the song and who sings it on National Lampoons Christmas Vacation when clark is locked in the attic and watching old films of the family,, it starts out like this "Christmas is the time of year,,,,," thanks for any and all responses!!!!!!!!

That would be Ray Charles' "That Spirit of Christmas"...a very popular request on this board. That particular song is available on his album titled Spirit of Christmas from 1985.
