Subject: Vh1's Top 100 Artists of Hard Rock

Written By: james martin on 11/17/2000 at 11:21 p.m.

I just saw Vh1's list of the Top 100 Artists of Hard Rock and I only have a few words to say: good, bad, awful, sick, disgusting, suprising, shock need I go on? There were a few of a lot of "Hard Rock"artists were completely left off the list: Journey, Styx, REO SpeedWagon, Eric Clapton(The Yardbirds,Cream),REM a shock right there and probably the biggest shock of all were The Beatles the most successful, influental, creative, and 2nd biggest selling artist in history behind Elvis were left out completely. Go to www.vh1.com and check the list of the Top 100 "Hard Rock" ARTISTS and then post your opinions on the board. I'll be suprised if the network's next list would be the Top 100 love songs of all time; but, throw that out of the window, VH1 staffs would probably puke if they had to go through a armload of "sappy", "syrupy", "mushy" LIST OF LOVE SONGS to do that. I challenge them to do it!!!!!
