HELP!!! I have been trying to find a band called "when in roam" and the song is called "the promise". if anyone can help me find it.. or if anyone knows the correct spelling of the band/song and can also help me find the lyrics It would be appreciated. Thanks from yet another 80's fan

I think the band you're looking for is called When In Rome (comes from a phrase that starts "when in Rome...something, something - I forgot how the phrase goes...). Excellent song.

Just like to point out that not only is this an excellent song, the entire album (self-titled) is really good. Unfortunately, When in Rome only released on album (at least States wide, though I've yet to find anything else). Big name chain stores have a tendency to carry the album, but you probably won't find it a places like Wallyworld. You should be able to order it online and any of the major music dealers as well.
