Hey. I always thought this was a big hit, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I want to know who sung this song: "Run like a river to the setting sun, run like a river to the setting sun, run like a river and we'll alwaaaaays be freeeeee...". I'm not sure what decade it's from, but I'm pretty positive that it's from the 1980's. I'm DYING to know this. I don't know why I can't find it. I remember hearing this song when I was little, but I never knew who sung it. Please tell me if you know any information.

Don't know when it came out... I used to hear it all the time in 95-96 though when I was working at Toys R Us. Fraid I don't know who sings it but I THINK the title of the song is "White River"...

Actually, the correct title is "Wide River" and it's by Steve Miller from 1993's album of the same name. Sadly, it's only available as a import now and not a domestic.
