Subject: Kirelason?
Who sang Kirelason and how do you spell the song?

If this is the one I'm thinking of, it's Kyrie Alaison (last name sp?), but the name of the song is just Kyrie. The CD contains all the lyrics along with the correct spelling.
This sounds like it...
Band: Mr. Mister
Album: Welcome to the real world
Year: 1985

The phrase is "Kyrie Eleison" and is Greek for "Lord have mercy." Everything else is correct.

Thanks for the correct spelling. I wasn't at home when I wrote that so I couldn't look it up. I was pretty sure I had spelled it wrong.
What gets me is the word is pronounced different that it is written, like keer-ee aye-lay-sun, but it sounds really nice when Richard Page is singing it.

The words are pronounced exactly how it's written. It's Ky-ri-e E-le-i-son.

Let me rephrase that... it's not pronounced how *I* would pronounce it.
How often do you hear an E pronounced like an A? Aye-lay-son... not E-lee-son.
