Subject: Just Because - Help!
I have been trying to get the song that plays during the credits at the end of the movie "The Sure Thing". I have never been able to get the soundtrack. (I was told it was never made) It is titled "Just Because" by Ray Charles. I can't even find it on any of his labels! Thanks!

It's on his Atlantic release Ain't it So, 1979, according to the All Music Guide. I don't think it has been released on cd, though...

Morpheus is right, "Just Because" was off of Ray Charles' 1979 album, "Ain't it So". (It was released as the lead single, and was a minor hit on the r&b chart in the Fall of '79. It failed to cross over to the pop charts. The vinyl 45 was issued on Atlantic 3634, if you want to track down the 7" single.) Unfortunately, the album is long out-of-print, and has never been re-issued on CD here in the U.S. But when it first came out back in '79 on Atlantic 19251, it was released in all three formats: vinyl LP, cassette, and 8-track!
