Subject: Will To Power
Hey, it's me again. Lately I've been obsessed with the unique, and very incognito band, Will To Power and their song, "Baby I Love Your Way/Freebird Medley". I've searched all over the internet and found nothing on this band. I was also wondering, did they release an album in 1973?! I saw an album by Will To Power on a CD site, and I was surprised to see that it was from 1973. If you have any information on this band at all, I'd really like to hear everything. Thanks.

I don't think WTP existed in 1973 - the song "Freebird" (by Lynyrd Skynyrd) is from 1973 and, possibly, "Baby, I Love Your Way" (by P. Frampton - I forgot what year exactly...). Personally, I like the originals better since I listened to those first (not a big fan of covers, anyways). WTP is, most likely, a one-hit wonder; I own one album (with 9 songs) titled: Love Power (released in 1996), which looks like a compilation of two previous albums (one released in 1988 and the other in 1990, as I can tell by the copyrighted dates). Believe me, their only good song is the coversong, the rest, I'm sorry to say, is bland and forgettable...the cd was cheap(!) though - it costed me back in 1997 only $3.99 new at Circuit City (you may want to check out their bargain sections or any other stores').
