I hope that somebody can help me, because I`m searching for so long for this band or singer!!! Well, the only thing I can remember is: the song is from the 80`s and the lyrics "Johnny, I don`t angry anymore" are often in this song!!!
I also can a little bit remember the video!!! There was a woman singing on a stage in a dark room and the room was looking a kind of restaurant with tables!!! I know that sounds strange, but I hope so much that someone can help me!!! By the way, the woman was only singing and I think she had black hairs and a voice who sounds a little bit like Anastacia!!!

Your "mystery song" is most likely "Joey" by Concrete Blonde, a moderate hit here in the U.S. in the Fall of '90. It was off the band's 1990 album, "Bloodletting". (Yes, they had a female lead singer - her name was Johnette Napolitano.) Fortunately, the album is still in print on CD here in the U.S...

The "mystery song" is definitely "Joey" by Concrete Blonde. 80smusicfreak is correct.
The line is "Joey, I'm not angry anymore." (Also, "Joey if you're hurting, so am I." elswhere in the song.)
The video for this song indeed was set up as though Johnette was sitting at a cafe style table on a darkened stage.
