I'm aware that there is this goa/trance/techno band called Etnica.
I have, however, found a band called Etnica on an album called "Bands on the Rocks". I think the album's Italian. The album is from the mid-80's, but I can't tell you anything further, as I don't have the album here. Could someone back me up on this, and tell me whether it's the same band?

I don't know if it is the same band, but the current band called Etnica is from Italy. If the older band is also from Italy, could be the same group. (Though maybe not, as "Etnica" is the Italian feminine of "ethnic", so it could be the name of another Italian band.)
The individuals associated with the current band Etnica! are Maurizio Begotti, Max Lanfranconi, and Andrea Rizzo. If any of those names appear on the song credits for the older group, they may be one and the same.
