Subject: great 80's site
A great site about a time when musical artists were colorful and creative, expressive and energetic. The music had a catchy, upbeat energy like no other period. Great artists like Michael Jackson, Cyndi Lauper, Blondie, A-ha, Tina Turner, Duran Duran, Heart, Prince, Def Leopard, ABC, Human League, all those great New Wave artists I could go on about at length. And as one of the other messages said, MTV played music around the clock, not game shows and cartoons! It seemed so much more for adults and the artists more sophisticated yet sexy and vibrant. Hard to believe Tina Turner coulda made a comeback over age forty on MTV today!
