I heard the end of the song on the radio a couple of days ago...of course the DJ didn't mention the song or the artist...so...hoping someone can help me out..the lyrics were:
Don't you let my heart know that you're leavin'
Leave me now before my heart finds out.
Seems like I heard this song in a movie?
Any help is appreciated!

yes, the answer is "before my heart finds out" by gene cotton from 1978 on the now-defunct ariola records. it was written by a great songwritter randy goodrum who has written songs for steve perry ("foolish heart"), anne murray ("broken-hearted me"), toto ("i'll be over you"), debarge ("who's holding donna now") among others. the song hit #23 on the pop chart and #3 on the a.c. chart. sadly, you'll have to find it on a '70s compilation album. i don't know which one; but, good luck.
